The Trading Heartbeats Trilogy

I Loved You Yesterday

Mavis Benson made a huge mistake. Scratch that—colossal mistake. Twice. Sleeping with her high school sweetheart’s twin brother definitely wasn’t part of the plan… nor was falling in love with him.

But that wasn’t the only complication Mavis faced. When an unplanned pregnancy upends her life at seventeen, Mavis skips town to spare her boyfriend, Josh Templeton, from the fallout. With only a letter of apology, she disappears, but not before confiding her secret to Josh’s brother, Austin.

When Austin resurfaces in her life years later, he brings the past to Mavis’s doorstep. Josh wants her back, Austin isn’t willing to surrender, and the path to happiness isn’t clear. Caught between both men, Mavis must choose between the brother for whom she broke her own heart, and the brother who picked up the pieces.

"I Loved You Yesterday by Julie Navickas is a blissful journey of patience, challenges, forgiveness, and most importantly, ‘second chances’. This book beautifully showcased a love triangle, and each chapter leaves the reader craving more. This story is woven with a thread of secrets; secrets which were buried for the past ten years. Each character was truly incredible, it often makes the reader think whether to comfort, thwart or pity the characters. It was both heartwarming and at times heart-wrenching. Julie Navickas’ book, I Loved You Yesterday, is for the heart which is strong enough to be broken, and who can cross any boundaries to meet the love they deserve. It is a story of sacrifice, sacrificing themselves to make someone else’s dream come true.”

O'll Love You Tomorrow

Vegas is just the right amount of wrong.

Mitch Benson never expected to file for divorce. After serving two tours of duty in the United States Navy, he returns home to Los Angeles, ready to elope with the love of his life, Lauren Templeton—united in marriage beneath the dusty, plastic-flowered archway of a Las Vegas wedding chapel.

But seven years later, their Sin City marriage seems more like a mirage. Mitch believes the writing is on the wall that his country-club caliber wife settled for a blue-collar carpenter. His career aspirations and the love of his life are slipping away.

Amidst the wreckage, an unexpected connection with a childhood enemy, blossoms. Confused and conflicted, Mitch lays all his cards on the table, ready to make the wager of a lifetime. The question is… which hand should he bet on? Love… or lust?

“This book is an idyllic new age, romantic work of fiction with imperfectly perfect characters. Mitch and Lauren are complex, and the author does an impeccable job weaving the web of external conflict. But what’s even more appealing, is the internal struggles each one of them face.”

The Clumsy Little Hearts Trilogy

Trusting Love

When Ryan Prescott steps foot into the Rosewood Register, it’s more than just the newspaper that’s failing—it’s Tess Browning’s heart. Having been burned by love in the past himself, her broken soul calls to him from the moment they first meet.

From the hardware store paint aisle to the edges of a freshwater pond in trout season, their relationship blossoms from the wreckage of their shared past heartache. But when an innocent camping trip triggers a glimpse of the truth to flow from Tess’s lips, Ryan realizes there might just be more to her than he bargained for.

Because Tess Browning has a secret. And it’s most certainly more than just a troubled past with love.

The question is, how far is Ryan willing to go to learn the truth? And just what will the truth do to his already damaged heart?

“This was a super cute second chance love story. It was so good that I read it in one sitting! Tess and Ryan have both been burned by others but they each give the other another turn at being loved, if they will only let themselves be loved. This was the first book I’ve read by this author, and I loved it!”

Finding Love

Rachel Prescott has always dated the wrong men. Each relationship begins with hope, but within months ends with “nope.” The harder she tries, the harder she fails. That is, until the new owner of Pier Ninety-Two, Miguel Rodriguez, spots her wallowing over her latest dating disaster in his restaurant.

Easily smitten with the brown-haired beauty, Miguel offers her his heart. Or at least, what’s left of it. Because Miguel has had his own troubled past finding the right woman. With the echo of lost love still haunting his heart, he convinces himself he’s ready to move on—and who better with than the spunky, sexy, and strong-willed, Rachel Prescott?

Over a bottle of wine (or two), Miguel and Rachel instantly connect. And by the end of the evening, it’s more than their shared plate of mushroom ravioli left steaming.

This book flows easily just like a river. The emotions are visceral, the love is beautiful, and the jokes are subtle. I will definitely go back and read book 1, as I want to read Tess and Ryan’s story. Definitely a good book!

Chasing Love

When Cole Johnson was 8 years old, he married Rose Prescott. Never mind that the aisle was made of holiday table runners, she wore an old lace curtain, and her brother performed the ceremony in a musty basement.

Twenty-four years later, Cole is more in love than ever and ready to wed Rose for real. This time, it’ll be at an exquisite wedding venue and the minister will know how to read. But that’s not all. He wants to give Rose the life he’s always dreamed of: a big house with a picket fence, twin boys, a family dog, and a rock solid 401K.

But Rose doesn’t seem to want any of it—not even a little. Because it’s not at all the future she covets. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. The thought of a hefty mortgage payment and a minivan full of children isn’t just suffocating… it’s insufferable.

As the wedding approaches, Cole grows uneasy and can’t help but feel like Rose is hiding something. Despite his suspicions, the day of their wedding arrives without a hitch. The question is, how will the day end?
